This morning 9 Jesuit deacons of the Vietnam Province have been ordained to the priesthood at the St Joseph Jesuit Scholasticate in Hochiminh city by Most Rev. Joseph Dang Duc Ngan, bishop of Da Nang diocese.
The new priests include:- PHAOLÔ TRƯƠNG MINH CAO, SJ
- PHAOLÔ NGUYỄN VĂN CHÍ, SJ
- VINHSƠN NGUYỄN VĂN CÔNG, SJ
- GIUSE VƯƠNG VĂN ĐỈNH, SJ
- GIUSE NGUYỄN NGỌC KHANG, SJ
- GIUSE TRƯƠNG ĐÌNH SÁNG, SJ
- GIUSE MARIA TRƯƠNG HOÀNG SƠN, SJ
- MARTINÔ VŨ THI THƠ, SJ
- PHÊRÔ NGUYỄN BÁ TINH, SJ
In this mass, there were appropriate 110 priests, jesuits as well as non-jesuits concelebrated with father provincial Vincent Phạm Văn Mầm, Sj. Besides, a numbers of family-members, relatives and friends of the newly priests also participated in this significant occasion.

Rv. Bishop Joseph, in his homily, reminded the nine deacons who were being ordained into priesthood that each of them should trust in God's faithfulness with his choice so that each one also be faithful with owns respond to God's call. As Jeremiah in the first reading, because of God's promise that He always be with the one whom He sent, each one should be confident to preach the Gospel to the world by a good Christian life and an eager for mission. Such evangelization with the soul burnt by the Holy Spirit would show out the love of the missionary to God, as an example of saint Francis Xavier.
In the thankful and prayerful atmosphere to God, may the Lord bless our new priests and grant them his grace in order that they live faithfully within their vocation.
