In his Apostolic Constitution FIDEI DEPOSITUM, St. Pope John Paul II wrote that the Catechism of the Catholic Church “is offered to all the faithful who wish to deepen their knowledge of the unfathomable riches of salvation (cf. Jn 8:32).” Accordingly, learning the Catechism is necessary for those who believe in God and want to achieve his salvific gift.
In other to help laypeople, especially young people in such learning, Father Francis Xavier Nguyen Hai Tinh, SJ has started a series of online video lectures on the Catechism of the Catholic Church titled under the title of Catechism of Catholic Church: Overview and Explanation.
