Catholic Students in Vietnam Respond COVID-19

Tam Duc - Magis Catholic Students Group visited the poor in Cai Tac parish

Tam Duc, a Jesuit-established student group, visited the poor living in areas of Cai Tac parish in Can Tho diocese, South Vietnam. The initiative was taken as a response to the call of the parish priest to support for those who are quarantined or in isolation.

Sch. Dominic Phan Van Quynh, SJ, accompanied the students to provide food and essentials of the parish for poor families and the elderly amid COVID-19. According to Quynh, the purpose of this program is to help the students to imitate Jesus Christ, who always loves and shows concern for the poor.
