In Vietnam, there are 7 Jesuit parishes, 3 sub-parish, and 1 chapel.  A Jesuit parish is guided by the Ignatian Spirituality, which encourages people to deepen their personal relationship with God and to discern God’s presence in their lives.

Such a parish aims to promote collaboration between the Jesuits and laypeople as well as to nurture lay leadership.It is also committed to 4 Universal Apostolic Preferences of the Society of Jesus in its own context.
