Ordination Invitation

Jesuit deacons Peter TRAN HOAN CHINH, SJ, Dominic DO HUNG DINH, SJ, and Dominic VU CHI KIEN, SJ, will be ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Cosme HOANG VAN DAT, SJ, on Thursday 03 December 2020, 6:00 AM at St Joseph Jesuit Scholasticate (SJJS), Thu Duc, Hochiminh City, Vietnam.

All are most welcome to celebrate this special occasion for the Society of Jesus in Vietnam. The service will be followed by a breakfast at SJJS.

Dinh (36) and Kien (36) both joined the Sacred Heart Novitiate in 2008 and made their first vows in 2010. They studied philosophy at St. Joseph Jesuit Scholasticate (SJJS) in Thu Duc, Vietnam. After their three-year regency they studied theology at SJJS.

Chinh (35) entered the Sacred Heart Novitiate in 2009. After taking his first vows Chinh studied philosophy at St. Joseph Jesuit Scholasticate in Thu Duc. After his two-year regency he was sent to Manila to study theology at Loyola School of Theology in Manila, Philippines.
