Three men: Joseph Jia, SJ, Gu Min De, SJ, and Mu Ya Hung, Moye, were ordained to the diaconate and Rev. Joseph Dang Do Nhan, SJ, to the priesthood in Taiwan on 04 July 2020. Most Rev. John Hung Shan-Chuan, SVD, the Archbishop of Taipei, Taiwan, presided over the ordination held at the Holy Family Church of the Society of Jesus in Taiwan.

Fr. Joseph Dang Do Nhan, SJ, 40, a Vietnamese missionary in Taiwan, was born in Ho Chi Minh City. He was admitted to the Sacred Heart Novitiate in 2007. He studied philosophy at St. Joseph Jesuit Scholasticate in Vietnam and did his regency in Taiwan. In 2016 he began his theology studies at Fu Jen Faculty of Theology of St Robert Bellarmine in Taipei, Taiwan. He is currently studying STL in Migration Theology at Loyola School of Theology, the Philippines.
