Christmas is the special event in which people enjoy happiness and sweet moment of love. This year, the Catholic Student Group of Nong Lam University which is being accompanied by Vietnamese Jesuit scholastics organized some activities on Christmas season for old people in Suoi Tien Nursing Home in Dong Nai Province. To raise a fund for this event, the students have sold calendars, rosaries and flowers. They sold these things in many churches in Dong Nai Province (Xuan Loc Diocese) such as Thanh Tam, Thanh Hoa, and Hoa Binh parish and so on. Through these activities, the students can get the lines of genuine experience and cohere among members. “Let open your heart to feel warm in winter” was the slogan that was chosen for this plan. That there are over 50 students of the Catholic Student group of Nong Lam University organized Christmas event for over 100 old people. Firstly in the morning, students cleaned up rooms and grounds, also conversed with the old. After that, they facilitated old people to prepare some dishes for lunch and helped them eat. The essential part was that the old were seen performing arts by the students and by themselves; and the students gave the old Christmas cards. Finally, the students made and decorated nativity scene in the ground of the Nursing Home. After the Miracle Christmas held, the old were in seventh heaven because the students visited them like their children, sharing the happiness, giving love and creating a honey feeling. The students have gotten their own unforgettable experiences.  They wish they will come back to visit the Suoi Tien Nursing Home again.
