Father Joseph Bui Quang Minh was born in Vung Tau City, in the South of Vietnam in 1976 and is jesuit since 1999. After having his first studies of philosophy and theology in Paris, he was sent to Munich for his further studies in philosophy and now is pursuing his doctoral dissertation there. He was ordained as a priest in 2014. He is now Director of the Philosophy Program in Saint Joseph Jesuit Scholasticate in Thu Duc, Saigon, teaching philosophy, languages and taking part in some pastoral activities for youth.
Fr Nguyen Hai Tinh SJ, Formation Delegate of the Vietnamese Jesuit Province, has started a series of online video lectures on theology designed for catechists, theology students and anybody interested in theology. Each episode lasts no more than 10 minutes and uses humour and animation to capture viewers’ attention.
Fr. Rogel Abais, SJ, is the Vice President for Academic Affairs of Loyola School of Theology (LST), Manila, Philippines. On 26 March 2019, he visited Vietnam to join the Graduation Ceremony of the St. Joseph Jesuit Scholasticate (SJJS) of the Vietnam Jesuit Province as a representative of the LST with which the SJJS has been affiliated since 2018.
