On December 3, 2024, the Society of Jesus in Vietnam celebrated the ordination of seven new priests at Hiển Linh Parish in Thủ Đức City. The ordaining prelate was Bishop Joseph Đỗ Quang Khang of the Diocese of Bắc Ninh. Concelebrating with Bishop Khang were Bishop Cosmas Hoàng Văn Đạt, S.J., Bishop emeritus of Diocese of Bắc Ninh, Provincial Superior Joseph Phạm Tuấn Nghĩa, S.J., priests from both within and outside the Society, along with nearly 1,500 faithful in attendance.

The Jesuit Candidacy House in Thu Duc City celebrated the Feast of St Ignatius on 27 July with a lively gathering of Jesuit candidates, primarily from the southern region of Vietnam, numerous benefactors, friends, some Jesuits from Canada, the Philippines, and the USA, and, notably, the families and friends of 18 incoming novices about to join the Sacred Heart Jesuit Novitiate.
